NSF Graduate Research

Micah Swartz, a second-year PhD student in mathematics education, advised by Dr. Alejandra Sorto received the NSF's Graduate Research Fellowship.

Notably, Micah is the first-ever recipient from Texas State's Department of Mathematics. He is also the only graduate student recipient who was supported by The Graduate College during this year's application process.
